Despite the weak trade on the stock exchange yesterday all indexes closed with a rise. BGTR30 of the best performers in total return jumped by 1.565 to 191.01 p. BGREIT of real estate investment trusts followed it by gaining 1.18% to 40.24 p. The blue-chip Sofix added 0.89% to 266.86 p. and the broad BG40 posted 0.74% to 88.34 p. Total turnover of was only BGN 1 million. Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria and Chimko contested for the most traded company.

Net profit of Vipom AD rose by 75% to BGN 576,000, the annual non-consolidated report of the pumps and pumping equipment manufacturer shows. Net sales incomes in 2008 amounted to BGN 5.5 million, which is by BGN 530,000 more compared with the year before. Itemised expenses added 8% and by the end of December 2008 were some BGN 5 million.
