For the first time after a month and a half the indexes of Bulgarian Stock Exchange - Sofia registered a raise of their level. The index BSE - Sofia - Warberg grew with 4.90 per cent, reaching 30.15 points and those of the ten enterprises with highest market capitalization rose with 7.15 per cent and reached 29.47 points. The growth of the prices was a result of the big growth of the shares of the tobacco companies. The small amounts of shares of Blagoevgrad Bulgartabak and Bulgartabak Holding make this a growth of the face value without a significant change in market situation. What made impression to the dealers was the ceasing of the decrease of the prices of most of the big companies The highly limited amounts of shares that were traded show that the prices have reached a moment minimum level which stopped the owners of further sale. The challenge is if the shares will be able to rise during the next few weeks or they will remain on the present level. Weak trade characterized all big companies. Although the turnover of the stock exchange for the week was extremely high it was a result of a few cross deals with big stakes of shares. The biggest amount of shares that were transferred was of Betonit and the Lead and Zinc Plant - BGN 4 million.

If we judge, however, by the investment program for USD 46 million for the whole holding and the capacities of the new owner (Deutsche Bank) to organize such financing, it may turn out, that this will be the greatest corporate bond loan in the history of our country. Until the current moment, successful attempts for accumulation of capital through bonds were made by the computer and software company ProSoft (BGN 2 million), the resort Albena (BGN 5 million) and Solvay-Sodi (up to BGN 20 million), but they issued order bills instead of bonds.
