Bulgaria's Speedy acquires OMG Mobile for 2 mln euro Bulgarian express delivery company Speedy has completed the acquisition of 100% of software developer OMG Mobile for EUR 2 million. Speedy agreed in December to acquire OMG Mobile, which has been developing software for the delivery company since 2012. Speedy will pay the EUR 2 million within five years, however, 75% of the total price is conditional upon OMG Mobile keeping its key developers within that period. In 2015-2017 OMG Mobile developed software solutions servicing Speedy's operations in Bulgaria, Romania and Greece. Last year, Speedy acquired 100% in local peer Rapido Express and Logistics.

Speedy AD-Sofia (0SP) BSE received the following notification from the company: Speedy AD acquired 100% of the shares of the software company OMG Mobile OOD on 21 December 2018 at the price of EUR 2 million. The deal was finalised on 02 January 2019. OMG Mobile OOD has been developing software for Speedy AD since 2012, and in the period 2015-2017 were launched completely new applications, serving the main activity of Speedy AD in Bulgaria, Romania and Greece. So far the applications have been used under license but after the transaction the intellectual property is owned by Speedy AD and the applications will not be available to third parties. The term of payment of the deal is within a span of five (5) years and 75% of the price will be paid on condition that key developers remain at work for the company in this period.
