The blue-chip Sofix lost 3.96% to 318.52 points. BGTR30 of the best performers in total return followed it dropping by 2.59% to 241.58 points. The broad BG40 of the most traded stocks dipped by 2.13% and closed only 0.27 p above its basis value of 100 points. BGREIT of real estate investment trusts fell the least by 0.94% to 45.54 bp. Market capitalisation dropped by BGN 192 million to BGN 11.601 billion.

BGREIT of real estate investment trusts reached its lowest level after the trade yesterday. The index dipped by 2.16% to 38.06 points. BGTR30 of the best performers in total return was the second to drop by 1.89% to 193.26 points. The broad BG40 of the most traded stocks lost 0.39% and closed at 86.56 points. Only the blue-chip Sofix rose by 0.14% to 265.70 points. Total turnover was BGN 3.495 million.

Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage AD (SCPB) posted BGN 4.9 million interest incomes in 2008, which is by 23% more on an annual basis, the non-consolidated report of the company shows. Interest incomes hold 99% of the total incomes of the company last year. Profit rose by 21% year on year to BGN 2.9 million. The company is the only one with ordinary and privileged shares on the stock exchange.

The indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) started the week with a drop, following the trend on the European stock markets. The blue-chip Sofix fell 1.11% to 447.65 points. It has been hovering around the key level of 450 points over the past two months. BG40 of the most traded stocks dipped the most, 1.15% to 119.59 points. BGREIT lost the least, only 0.43%, and closed at 48.48 points. Total turnover was BGN 1.2 million. The most active companies were Fund for Agricultural Land Mel Invest REIT with 258,000 shares sold and the companies facing delisting. Bonds of seven companies were sold on Monday.
