The incomes of "Varna Port" from the shipment activities for 1996 was in the amount of BGL 2.971 billion and the net profit of the company amounted to BGL 156 million. The number of the ships which were loaded (unloaded) at the port for the same year was 1377.

The port "Varna - Zapad" JSC and "Marvex" Ltd. will finance a re-equipment of quay No 4. On this quay get serviced the loads of "Devnenski Tziment" JSC, which is owned by "Marvex" Ltd. The new equipment was bought in Spain.
