The former privatization fund Petrol holding group convenes Extraordinary Meeting at which will be changed the name of the company. The reason is that the present company does not respond to the direction of the holding that sold its shares in Petrol JSC. A representative of the company declared that the new name is not still selected.

The new name of Petrol holding group is Sinergon holding. The decision was taken at the Extraordinary meeting of the company.The change of the name is made because of the new structure of the company's property - in March 2001, Petrol holding sold its shares from the company Petrol.

The regular annual General Meeting of the shareholders of Sinergon Holding JSC (the former Petrol Holding Group), which was held in the end of last week, voted the paying up of dividends for the fifth time. It is in the amount of 20 per cent or BGN 0.20 per share. After taxation, the net dividend per share amounts to BGN 0.17. It is by BGN 0.11 more compared to last year, when the dividend per share amounted to BGN 0.09. The indicator " profitability per share" is 33.40 per cent, which exceeds 6 times the average annual interest rate for the deposits announced by BNB. The balance profit of the holding for the year 2001 is BGN 3 905 000. This result puts the holding in the number one position among the former privatized funds.

The State Securities Commission issued a temporary ban on the tender offer submitted by Sinergon Holding JSC - Sofia to the shareholders of Toplivo JSC - Sofia throught the investment mediator Aval In JSC. This was announced from the PR Department of the commission. The commission decided to write off the Sliven-based companies Lactovita JSC and Machlecprom JSC from the Register of the public companies and other issuers.

A new work-shop for tiles will be opened in Shamot factoiry in Elin Pelin. The value of the investment is BGN 3.5 million, was reported from the press-centre of Sinergon Holding. New shareholders entered in the holiday resort Elenite JSC after a deal with unofficial segment at the Stock Exchange, registered on Thursday (September 5) by the investment mediator Aval in. Sinergon Holding (the former Petrol Holding Group), controlled by the Chairman of its Supervisory Board Mr. Bedo Doganyan sold its shares. The holding received BGN 3 037 262.76 for 21.11 per cent of the resort. The biggest shareholder in the tourist complex is the local MEBO Elenite Invest, which privatized 60 per cent of it in June 1999. The price of the deal then was USD 7 million.

The former privatization fund Petrol Holding , which is already called Sinergon has sold its stake from the holiday village Elenite, was reported from the resort. The holding owned 21.12 per cent of the shares. They were traded at the Stock Exchange by an investment intermediary for USD 1.5 million. Businessmen suggested that the purchaser, who has not appeared officially yet is related to the majority owner of the complex - MEBO Elenite Invest. During 1999 the company purchased 60 per cent of the capital of Elenite, but was in court disputes with a rival MEBO for three years.

Only seven shareholders with totally 112 shares has accepted the tender offer of Sinergon holding for the buy-out of the shares of the fuel-distribution company Toplivo JSC at a price of BGN 3.10 per share. This means that there are no conditions for the delisting of the company of company of the Public issuers register, announced the Executive Director of the investment intermediary for the deal - Aval In, Mrs. Bistra Ilkova. According to her the problem is the State, which holds about 6 per cent of the capital of Toplivo. These shares are planed to be used for the payment restitution claims thus the State could not sale them.

The former Executive Director of the investment intermediary Aval In Mrs. Bistra Ilkova was electe by the Council Of Ministers for a Chairman of the State Securities Commission. Mrs. Ilkova will replace Mr. Lyubomir Velkov, who resigned during August. By this moment she was a member of the Board of Directors, but she will have to resign both her positions before she occupies the position of a Chairman of the Securities Commission.
