13 water supply companies shall be concessed after their modernization is completed, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works announced. The pilot project with the first company will start in two weeks in Bourgas. Half of the companies will be co-financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development without any state guarantee. The companies have been selected according to their possibility to serve their credits in a way to avoid facing bankruptcy as the companies in Kyustendil, Lovech, and Haskovo.
