Bulgarian Stock Exchange AD reports a 35% increase in net profit on an annual basis to EUR 1.58 million for the second quarter of 2026. The subsidiary Bulgarian Independent Energy Exchange EAD (IBEX) forms the profit in the consolidated report of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, while the parent company has a balanced result, if it were not for the dividend income from IBEX. Interest income continues the trend of decrease from the first quarter by about 50% (by 46% in the second) and for the entire half-year is down by 59% to EUR 1.7 million. The consolidated profit of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange for the half-year decreases by 20% on an annual basis to EUR 3.4 million. The expenses for remuneration and for external services increase by EUR 300 thousand each, or by a total of EUR 0.6 million, but the operating income is up by EUR 1.4 million.
